Rules & Compliance

Critical Information:

Rules change between shifts and MUST be followed. Rule violations can end your shift immediately or lock you into specific endings. Always read the posted rules at the start of each shift.

Essential Rules from Game Experience

Critical Service Rules

  • Granny Ghost Rule: A 'Granny ghost' (nenek gendong) with a baby on her shoulder must be served but NOT stared at
  • Green Baby Rule: Specifically serve villagers with green babies - this is a positive interaction
  • Sitting Rule: Avoid sitting down when serving to prevent being fired
  • Blood Dripping Rule: If you see blood dripping from the meatball, you must sit down immediately

Third Eye (Mata Batin) Rules

  • Use Third Eye (Q key) to confirm anomalies, but NOT for too long
  • Overuse can lead to being 'cursed' or dragged into the 'demon world'
  • Best used in short, strategic bursts (1-2 seconds)
  • Using it too often can trigger the Jin World secret ending

Financial Rules (STRICT)

  • Pricing: Rp. 12,000 for Bakso Noodles, Rp. 7,000 for drinks - NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Payment Rule: Customers must pay the correct amount - violations result in anomaly hits
  • No Discounts: Offering discounts violates the strict pricing rule and counts as an anomaly hit, even if it seems kind
  • Example Violation: A customer paying only Rp. 12,000 for a Bakso Noodle and Boxed Tea (total Rp. 19,000) results in 'Abnormal Shift' anomaly hit

Behavioral Rules

  • Customers might give tips - this is normal and acceptable
  • Be aware of customers demanding special treatment or discounts
  • Some customers may challenge your authority or demand your ID (KTP) - stay firm on pricing
Rule Priority System

When rules conflict with normal anomaly detection, follow this priority:

  1. Posted Rules First: Always follow posted rules even if the customer appears normal
  2. Obvious Anomalies: Clear supernatural features override normal service procedures
  3. Third Eye Confirmation: Use to verify when unsure
  4. Default to Caution: When in doubt, refuse service
Violation Consequences

Minor Violations

  • Warning messages
  • Reduced earnings
  • Affects final ending
  • May increase anomaly frequency

Major Violations

  • Immediate shift termination
  • Locked into specific bad endings
  • Entity attacks or breaches
  • Loss of all shift earnings
Compliance Strategies

Rule Documentation

Take a screenshot of the rules at shift start or write them down. You can't view them again once you start serving customers.

Decision Framework

Before serving each customer: (1) Check against posted rules, (2) Visual anomaly scan, (3) Third Eye if suspicious, (4) Make decision.

Perfect Shift Compliance

For the Perfect Shift ending, you must follow all rules with zero violations while also correctly identifying all anomalies. Requires complete concentration.
